Todays Workout

The sun is out and the workout of the day has been moved outdoors, the beautiful weather means you get to train in the bright sunshine and breathe the clean fresh air.

There are lots of beautiful places that I personal train clients in Milton Keynes, the outdoor space means that the equipment can be spread out and you can utilize the terrain as some fun obstacles. Today I used a combination of weights and cardio, all functional movements and kept it as challenging as possible.

This workout can be scaled up or down dependent on the persons capabilities.

Warmup and mobility

  • 2000 Meter row (falling no further than 15 seconds of personal best)
  • 3 Turkish getups on each side with a 30lb Kettlebell
  • 1 minute plank
  • 3 Turkish getups on each side with a 30lb Kettlebell
  • 1 minute plank
  • 3 Turkish getups on each side with a 30lb Kettlebell
  • 1 minute plank
  • Walking lunges with bar overhead (1 minute total)
  • Pushup Burpees (start with ten pushups per burpee and drop the pushups by 1 rep each time)
  • Double Kettlebell Clean and press with 2 30lb Kettlebells for 2 minutes
  • TRX Pullups 50 reps
  • Double handed Kettlebell swing finishing with kettlebel overhead using a 40lb Kettlebell for 2 minutes
  • 2000 Meter row (falling no further than 30 seconds of personal best)

As you can see this is quite a challenge and good technique should be adhered to at all times, the worst part for me is the rowing at the end but its very possible if you put your mind to it.
